Comments: Yanagibashi in Tokyo was the central location of the famous "gay quarters" where one could be entertained by geisha and courtesans. The name Yanagibashi means "willow bridge", and was so named because of a lone willow tree that was located at the north-west end of the local bridge. Black Chikanobu artist signature at lower right. Print title at upper right.
